Meet Ethan Taylor

Born in Baltimore and raised in Virginia Beach, Ethan Taylor — an avid angler and former collegiate athlete at James Madison University — discovered his passion for fishing early on, spending countless hours exploring the waters with friends and family. For Ethan, fishing became more than just a pastime; it became a way to reconnect with himself off the soccer field, where he had spent most of his life. He believes the lessons learned both on the water and the field taught him patience, perseverance, and a deep respect for nature — values that have shaped who he is today.

Currently attending James Madison University, Ethan is pursuing a degree in graphic design with a minor in business. His creative skills and entrepreneurial spirit have been instrumental in shaping CRU Fishing’s vision, allowing him to combine his love for design with his passion for the fishing lifestyle.

Ethan finds joy in every aspect of fishing, from casting lines off the pier to chasing trophy catches from the boat. Through CRU Fishing, he aims to share that passion with others and inspire people to embrace the adventure and camaraderie that come with life on the water.
